David Koznicov
Founder, DKMEDIA
I'm David Koznicov, founder of DKMEDIA. I work on the connections between automotive marketing, websites and the sales processes that follow an enquiry.
A campaign, a website and a CRM each handle part of the job. My focus is on how they work together: the information passed to the team, the next action and the outcome you can actually verify.
I lead the strategy and system design. The delivery plan makes clear who is involved, what is being built and how it will be handed over.
The Five Gears framework gives that work a structure: gather, establish, attract, refine and systemize.
Background
I studied informatics and started out as a developer. I've been building websites and working with B2B companies for more than 10 years, and I've worked in digital marketing for more than 7.
From development I moved into running campaigns, and from there to head of marketing. Before starting DKMEDIA I spent six months as head of web development at a marketing agency.
For more than five years I ran 15 to 20 Google and Meta ad accounts at the same time, some for agencies and some for my own clients. That taught me that volume kills focus. When one person is spread across twenty accounts, every account ends up with an average result, so today I work with a small number of clients on purpose.
The project that shaped DKMEDIA was a car dealership that imports vehicles from abroad. I built their website with live vehicle stock, connected it to a CRM, set up Meta and Google Ads, and added Brevo for email, all working as one system.
That's what I bring to every dealership and importer now. The website, the ads, the CRM and the follow-up are built together, handed over working, and I keep maintaining them. I run each project myself, from the first call to the monthly call after launch.
I'm based in Slovenia and work in English and Slovenian. I post about what I'm working on most weekdays on LinkedIn.
Three principles
Start with how your team works and the constraints that matter.
Define ownership, next actions and the evidence used to review progress.
Agree the implementation, access requirements and support before work begins.
