Car dealership website design

A dealership website that shows your stock and gets the enquiry.

I have built websites for ten years and dealership sites are the ones where the difference is easiest to measure. A buyer on a phone, on mobile data, in a car park, looking for one car. Either the page shows it in two seconds with a price and a button, or they go back to the portal. I build the first kind.

  • Live inventory from your DMS or portal feed, entered once
  • One page per vehicle and per model family, built for ads
  • Fast on a phone on mobile data, measured, not promised
  • Enquiry, WhatsApp, finance and trade-in in one tap

Sound familiar?

Four reasons a buyer leaves your site for the portal.

01

The stock is two scrolls away

Slideshow, slogan, manufacturer banner. The car the buyer came for is behind a menu.

02

Eight seconds on mobile data

Full-size photos, a chatbot, three tracking scripts. On a phone in a car park the page never finishes.

03

The price is hidden or the form is long

"Contact us for price" and a form with nine fields. The buyer wanted a number and a button.

04

The ad lands on the homepage

A click on a used Tiguan ad lands on a page with every car you own and forty filters.

Start on a phone

Read your homepage's first five words on a phone.

This is the third of the five checks I run on every dealership, and it is the one that embarrasses the most people. Open your own site on your phone. Read the first five words a stranger sees. Do they know what you sell and where?

Most dealership homepages open with a slideshow, a slogan, or a manufacturer banner. The stock, the thing the buyer came for, is two scrolls and one menu away. On a desktop that is annoying. On a phone it is the end of the visit.

A vehicle page has one job: turn a look into an enquiry. It needs the photos, big and fast. The price, with the finance line under it, because most buyers think in monthly payments. The key facts in one glance. Then one form, short, and a WhatsApp button next to it, because half your buyers would rather message than fill in a form.

How it works

One feed, four places it shows up.

Your stock is entered once, in the system you already use. The site, the ads and the reply all read from it.

  1. 1Week 1

    Connect the stock feed

From your DMS, a spreadsheet or the portal export. A car added Tuesday morning is on the site by lunchtime. A car sold Friday disappears from the site and the ads.

  2. 2Week 1 to 3

    Build the pages

One page per vehicle. One landing page per model family for the ads, with the live stock for that family and the questions buyers ask, answered plainly.

  3. 3Week 3

    Make it fast and tracked

Tested on a mid-range phone before launch. Conversion tracking that survives the cookie banner and follows the enquiry into the CRM.

  4. 4Week 3 to 4

    Switch over in one evening

Every old URL redirected so nothing you rank for is lost. Your domain, your hosting, your name on everything.

Is this for you

Built for some dealerships. Not for all of them.

This is for you if

  • Your stock lives on a portal or a template provider and you pay monthly for a site you do not own
  • You run Google or Meta ads and they land on the homepage
  • Your site takes more than three seconds to show a car with a price on mobile data
  • You want the site, the ads and the reply to work as one system

Probably not, if

  • You want a brochure site with no stock on it
  • You want a WordPress theme installed and handed over in a day
  • You are happy with the portal as your only shop window

Case study · Number 1 in the country

Became number 1 for enquiries in the country.

We rebuilt the site around the live stock, set up Google Ads on model-family pages and added 3 new marketing channels the competition in the client's market does not use. A free downloadable guide captures buyers who are not ready yet. The client is now the number 1 spot for enquiries in the country.

What you get

A stock site built to convert, and the tracking to prove it.

  • Live inventory from your DMS or portal feed
  • One page per vehicle: photos, price, finance line, delivery estimate, one form
  • One landing page per model family for the ads
  • WhatsApp, finance and trade-in flows in one tap
  • Speed tested on a mid-range phone before launch
  • Server-side conversion tracking into the CRM
  • Every old URL redirected on switch-over
  • Code, content and domain in your name

What it replaces

  • The template provider's monthly licence
  • Double entry of stock
  • The agency that sends ads to the homepage

A fixed price for the build, usually live in two to four weeks depending on the feed and the number of model families. Then a small monthly fee for hosting and maintenance if you want me to keep it. You get the exact number after the free analysis.

Numbers you can check

Open your site on mobile data and count.

You need your phone and thirty seconds. Turn off wifi first, because that is how your buyer sees it.

Ten-second check

Seconds to a car, taps to an enquiry.

  1. 1Turn off wifi on your phone and open your website.
  2. 2Count the seconds until you can see a car with a price.
  3. 3Count the taps until you can send an enquiry about it.

Under three seconds and two taps is the target. Most sites I test are over eight seconds and four taps.

After you send the form

I test your site before we talk about a new one.

  1. 1Within 24h

I open your site on a phone and time it

Seconds to a car, taps to an enquiry, what the ads land on, what the tracking actually records. Screenshots included.

  2. 2Day 2 to 3

A 20-minute call with the findings

Sometimes the answer is a day of fixes on the site you have. If it is, I say so.

  3. 3Day 3 to 5

    Scope, timeline, price, in writing

If a new site is the right call, you get the plan, the feed setup and the switch-over date.

Your partner

With me you're a client, not a number.

I'm David Koznicov, founder of DK Media. I lead each engagement personally, from the initial review to the monthly management. You get one plan and a clear split of responsibilities: I run the agreed system, you provide the offer, the data and the sales conversations.

From Growth Review to monthly management

  1. 01

    Growth Review

Business model, bottlenecks, available data and whether working together makes sense.

  2. 02

    Plan and proposal

Scope, infrastructure gaps, costs and responsibilities.

  3. 03

    Setting up the foundation

Access, tracking and any projects needed. Timing depends on the actual scope.

  4. 04

    Monthly management

Delivering priorities, reviewing enquiry quality and adjusting.

  5. 05

    Review after 90 days

Results, economics and whether expanding makes sense.

The first 90 days are for setting up, learning and improving. They are not a guaranteed payback period or a mandatory contract term; terms are set in the proposal.

Let's find what's currently limiting your path to sales.

Tell me where you are today. I'll get back to you to arrange the Growth Review.
