You import the cars. Stop importing the buyers through a portal.
My flagship client is an importer bringing cars in from Germany. I built their site with live stock, their CRM, their Google and Meta ads and their email, all connected. This page is what I learned doing it, and what I would build for you.
- Your live imported stock on your own site, not only on a portal
- Ads that follow the buyer across borders and languages
- Every enquiry answered in minutes, in the buyer's language
- A CRM that knows which car is on which transporter

Four things that cost an importer the sale, not the price.
The portal rents your buyers back
Your car sits next to six competitors on mobile.de, and the portal charges you for the view.
Speed beats price
A local dealer with a worse car and a higher price gets the test drive, because they answered first.
Every enquiry is a manual search
Is the car still available? What is close to it? Four salespeople, two hours each, every morning.
Three languages, one template
A German enquiry gets an English template. A Croatian one gets nothing until someone who speaks it is in.
Ninety enquiries, one mobile.de tab, four salespeople.
Here is what happened. The importer had over ninety enquiries waiting every Monday morning. Each one meant a manual search on mobile.de to find the car or an alternative, a reply typed by hand, and a salesperson assigned. Four people, two hours each, before a single car was sold.
The enquiries were good. The buyers were real. The problem was that by the time a reply went out, a dealer in the buyer's own town had already answered, with a car that was not as good and a price that was not as low, and they got the test drive anyway. Speed beat price.
For those who don't know: when your only stock page is on a portal, every buyer who finds your car also sees six others next to it. You are paying to send buyers to your competitors. The fix is not leaving the portals. It is owning the place your ads, replies and follow-up point to.
From the transporter to the test drive.
The same live stock feed powers the site, the ads and the reply. Entered once, everywhere at once.
- 1Week 1 to 2
Your stock on your own site
The feed that goes to the portal goes to your site. Every car gets a page with photos, price, delivery estimate and one form. The portals stay, but your ads land here.
- 2Week 2
Ads per model family, across borders
Google Search by model family, Performance Max and Meta catalog ads from the feed, in the buyer's language, with the import-specific negatives.
- 3Week 2
Three matching cars back in minutes
The workflow reads the enquiry, pulls the closest matches, drafts the reply in your tone and the buyer's language. Semi-automated if you prefer.
- 4Week 3
CRM and follow-up
Every enquiry in one list with the car and the transporter it is on. Follow-up after the test drive and when the buyer is due a replacement.
Built for some dealerships. Not for all of them.
This is for you if
- You bring cars in from Germany, Italy, Belgium or the Netherlands and sell them locally or across a border
- You have thirty or more cars in rotation, or plan to
- Enquiries arrive in more than one language
- You are tired of paying a portal for buyers who found you by name
Probably not, if
- You broker one-off cars on request with no stock of your own
- You sell only to trade, in bulk, by phone
- You want the AI to answer registration and tax questions on its own (it routes those to a person)
The importer, before and after.
| Today | With the system | |
|---|---|---|
| Where buyers see your stock | Portal listing, next to six competitors | Your own site, plus the portals |
| Monday morning | 90 enquiries, four people, two hours each | Drafts waiting with three cars each, a person presses send |
| Reply language | English template, or wait for a colleague | The buyer's language, same tone |
| Ads | One campaign, all stock, all countries | Per model family, per country, from the live feed |
| Your brand search | A portal outranks you for your own name | Your site, your stock, your form |

Four salespeople got two hours a day back.
An importer bringing cars in from Germany had over 90 enquiries waiting every Monday morning. The workflow now reads the enquiry, pulls the matching vehicles and prepares the draft. They chose to stay semi-automated, so a person still presses send. Even so, replying and gathering cars takes 70 percent less time, and they became number 1 for enquiries in their country after Google Ads were rebuilt and three new channels were added that the competition does not use.
One importer, four salespeople, semi-automated by choice. Results vary by market and starting point.
The importer system, the one I already run.
- Website with your live imported stock, one page per car
- Model-family pages that answer import questions: delivery, registration, what the price includes
- Google and Meta per model family and per country, from the feed
- Import-specific negative keyword list
- AI reply in the buyer's language, three matching cars, in minutes
- CRM with the car, the transporter and the salesperson on every enquiry
- Follow-up after the test drive and at the replacement cycle
- One person accountable for all of it
What it replaces
- The portal as your only stock page
- Two hours of manual searching per salesperson per day
- An agency per country
A fixed price for the build, then a monthly engagement to keep it earning. The reply workflow alone pays for itself from a few dozen enquiries a month. You get the exact number in writing after the free analysis.
Search your own brand plus the word import.
Before you spend a euro on new ads, look at what a buyer sees when they already know your name.
Ten-second check
Google your brand and see who is on the page.
- 1Open Google in an incognito window.
- 2Type your company name, then your company name plus the word import.
- 3Count how many results on the first page are portals and competitors, and whether your own site is there at all.
If a portal outranks you for your own name, the portal is collecting your brand traffic and charging you for it.
First your numbers, then a proposal or an honest no.
- 1Within 24h
I look at your stock page, your ads and your reply time
Including a real enquiry sent to your site in one of the languages you sell in.
- 2Day 2 to 3
A 20-minute call
Where the buyers leak, what the importer system would look like on your stock, and what to build first.
- 3Day 3 to 5
Scope, timeline, price, in writing
Or a clear no, if your setup is already fine. Either way you keep the analysis.
Questions importers ask first.

With me you're a client, not a number.
I'm David Koznicov, founder of DK Media. I lead each engagement personally, from the initial review to the monthly management. You get one plan and a clear split of responsibilities: I run the agreed system, you provide the offer, the data and the sales conversations.
From Growth Review to monthly management
- 01
Growth Review
Business model, bottlenecks, available data and whether working together makes sense.
- 02
Plan and proposal
Scope, infrastructure gaps, costs and responsibilities.
- 03
Setting up the foundation
Access, tracking and any projects needed. Timing depends on the actual scope.
- 04
Monthly management
Delivering priorities, reviewing enquiry quality and adjusting.
- 05
Review after 90 days
Results, economics and whether expanding makes sense.
The first 90 days are for setting up, learning and improving. They are not a guaranteed payback period or a mandatory contract term; terms are set in the proposal.
The rest of the system
Let's find what's currently limiting your path to sales.
Tell me where you are today. I'll get back to you to arrange the Growth Review.
PS: The Test Drive on this site is a real importer's workflow. Send it an enquiry for a car from mobile.de and see what comes back before you send me anything.
